If SNP want independence they need to say what they will do for energy policy when Scottish is independent. I am perfectly aware of what is devolved and what isn't. They have a voice(and influence) now on these issues. Please listen to Lesley Riddoch podcast.

I dont hear Swinney make a case for Zonal pricing so that those who are near the sources of the power pay less. SNP should be making developing specific energy policies - not just saying everything will be fine with Indepenence. (Even though it might be better if we take on the Energy companies)

If you were the Usga how would you go about the decision making process any better? It was clearly difficult. Some of the players played it ok. Others struggled.
