Turns out that TOPY made a word with that meaning before this body was even born. Using ‘E’ instead of ‘I’ would still confuse people, but it would at least make it explicit that a different meaning is intended.

So just the other day I was talking about how I’ve found using the word ‘we’ to mean ‘the multiple people who use this body’ was not viable because it could often be confused with the mundane definition of the word, even if whoever you were talking to was accepting of the above definition.

The end of the first video shows enabling automatic brightness by pressing both buttons when the switch is to the left, and the second video tries to show it in action. It’s a little difficult to video though, and the colours are way nicer IRL.

There’s one small bug remaining in the input handling code, but these are pretty much done now except for other colour schemes I might want to add later. The first video shows the different colour schemes available, which can be cycled between by pressing both buttons when the switch is to the right

The movie clearly has a ton of fetish stuff in it, which is excellent (are there even any other movies that have ‘dronification’ in them?) but even if it didn’t it would still be an incredible movie based on the plot, sound design, visual effects, set design, cinematography and overall vibe. 5 stars

I last watched it years and years ago, and it would have been a downloaded torrent of a DVD rip of a VHS original, so seeing it in a cinema in 4K was like seeing a whole new movie.

Just saw Rubber’s Lover in 4K with extremely high quality sound on an actual cinema screen. Holy shit I love this movie and seeing it like that was incredible.

Neptunite. Never expected to be able to track down a piece of this (for any amount of money I’d be willing to pay). It’s not that expensive but it is rare, and there’s not much on the market. I know almost nothing about it, aside from that this piece came from the same mine all Benitoite comes from.

Got a small slice of a chondrite meteorite and put a clump of Brookite in Quartz and a piece of green Herderite on it. I think the multiple little jutting out bits of crystal on the bottom look like legs, and the whole thing looks like a weird creature of some kind to me.
