The Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner is an old favorite of mine! It's low fantasy full of unreliable narrators that make you want to reread the first book (and the whole series) to see what you missed! (The audiobooks are also fantastic!)

i've got prompts locked and loaded do not underestimate the power of a sicko (cloche fan)

i'm going to make an interest check at some point if the week doesn't already exist. tbh even if no one is interested i might still make one.
