It’s been one year since we brought home my epileptic, semi-feral not-kitten. I’ve done a portrait using an Esterbrook J and also a Hunt school nib and with #hosiainks Ancient ink.

Another ink from #kittyinkpot “forest wind knows where to find the mountain bird”. The chromo was promising, but was hard to manipulate different components, especially when applied from a drier fountain pen nib. It just needs experimenting first.

Oops, almost forgot to post day 27 here (smoke from a bottle for #paictober25). It started out as an idea that flopped and then I added Kuretake granulating orange-green, which made the skin dead green, but under UV it turned almost a happy mix of fluorescent colors.

October 25th, 2025 for #paictober2025“Glowing eyes in fog”. The Gansai white paint to simulate fog didn’t work as well. The photo color under UV doesn’t look like what I saw, so I tried 2 filters and mods with limited success, but at least the eyes glow #mixedmedia #penandinksketch #halloweenprompt
