everyone wished really hard and manifested a friend for sinkdog
a comic. sinkdog sits on the countertop, broken dishes on the floor around her. she apologizes to a dog character (let's call her daisy) sweeping up the broken glass, who responds "it's okay!" in the next panel daisy is washing dishes in sinkdog, who is laying on the counter, looking away with tears running down her face. "it will get like this again." sinkdog comments. "and i'll help you again." daisy replies. "even if i never get better?" "of course." in the next couple of panels we see a clean, normal sink, and sinkdog rising up from the counter, now a regular intact dog character, freed from the mental block that was the dirty dishes. daisy clasps sinkdog (who is now wearing a hoodie and pj pants) on the shoulders and says "i hope i could unstick you a little bit." sinkdog smiles tearfully back. in the final panel they hug. daisy says "i love you." sinkdog looks relieved.

I like them a lot... Frank and Julie have Girl Time but in a 'Girl as a unknown Noun' kind of way, like:

More people need to realize what rubber bullets actually are. The name makes them sound harmless. In reality, they're large metal projectiles wrapped in rubber to make them bounce off pavements before striking someone. They can be extremely lethal when fired at someone directly.
How rubber bullets are meant to be used fired at the ground at an angle to reduce velocity and risk of grevious bodily harm or death supposed to be used from 36 to 72 yards How police are using them Police have repeatedly been recorded firing at protestors and journalists' faces from distances of less than 30 yards Rubber bullets have more than enough force to fracture your skull sending fragments of bone into your brain, causing cranial bleeding Bullets that strike the orbital-socket have the force to completely destroy the eye and penetrate the brain causing death. Since its adoption by police forces around the US and the world, rubber bullets have killed 3% of those they injure and hundreds have been permanently blinded.
