I think there was some optimism about MBTA use. And the city does have a large number of friendly crossing guards helping kids walk to school safely. But idk, we've got a massive budget crisis coming down in the next couple of years that the city has been in denial about.

MVRCS admin is absolute shit though, they've decided to blame traffic congestion on bus and bike lanes. That it vanishes over the summer is not their concern.

My bus trip from home to train station passes a charter school, a public elementary, and the local public high school. Our city *does not have school busses* High schoolers and some elementary ride the city bus. The charter school creates insane gridlock.

But what's the alternative?

I think cis-het people get distracted by the idea of someone who has not transitioned *beginning* their gender discovery journey by trying to literally play for the other team, and getting distressed by those implications. But that's simply never the case. It's not remotely what's on the line.

You have questions? Fine. The conclusive data is out there; and it's available for you to read before enacting policy. You can read it without hurting trans women. Go to it. If you care, learn. Nobody's mad at you for learning.
