My town replaced every single streetlight with a downward facing lamp. The result was absolutely incredible for stargazing.

Perhaps naive too. I think adapting to a new culture is HARD. Takes your whole life kind of difficult. I wish you nothing but the best. I'm 15 years into my new home and while I'm accepted here, it will never be 100% because I'm not from this place. I know their ways, but may never understand them.

Nothing to do with being British. Just my opinion that one can never truly adapt to a new culture without growing up in it. Carrying a passport means nothing. The rich can buy them. To be born and raised in a place is completely different.

You may hold a British passport, but you'll never be British. Same for me, in my new country. We can adopt the language and lifestyle of the nation we move to, but unless born and raised in a place... it's just not the same thing.

It may make you feel better, but will have zero effect. They don't even care what their own citizens say/do. Knock yourself out, but total waste of your energy.

Exactly the point of the original question. NATO'S core principle is basically worthless, hence NATO is dead. There may be a new alliance without the US, but it's informal. That needs to change.

The urban sprawl taking away farmland can't continue. We either increase pop density or reduce population. Since I'm not a psycho, I'd vote for multi-unit apartments every day of the week.
