Over the next few days my plan is to get my gf watching Home Alone 2. She’s never seen it. She loves the first one but has refused to watch the sequel. Unbelievable.

Another legend leaves us. RIP.

Absolutely loved Buck Rogers when I was growing up. I think they had the reruns on BBC2 in the UK?

Die Hard tonight. Love this film. Willis is brilliant and Rickman is amazing.

Do you think this would be made today?

First time I’ve seen Thunderbolts. I tell you what though…it’s better than I thought it would be. I actually liked all the characters. They’re disjointed and unruly but I actually prefer this. Bob. Let’s not forget about Bob! This made me excited about New Avengers as well.

Wake Up Dead Man on @netflixuk, I think, was my favourite so far of the Knives Out films. I thought Josh O’Connor and Josh Brolin were brilliant. Had me guessing right until the end to be honest.

Tonight I’ve got The Hound of the Baskervilles with Ian Richardson as Sherlock Holmes. It’s a great version and full of stars. Denholm Elliot, Brian Blessed, Ronald Lacey and Martin Shaw to name a few.

I think I’ll watch other versions over the next few weeks.

I’ve watched Monster Squad for the first time today. A film that revolves around a group of kids into their Monsters. A monsters turn up in their town. A battle takes place.

Really wish I’d watched this as a kid because I’d have really loved this!

For some reason I forgot I never returned to Stranger Things when there was a gap between Season 4 ep 4 and ep 5.

Right. Let’s catch up.

Frank Sidebottom was a famous comic in Manchester. Spotted this while walking round the Northern Quarter.

If I remember rightly, he had a comic series in Oink! Magazine.

Watching Lethal Weapon….Christmas music at the start…Christmas theme throughout. You’d be forgiven in thinking that it was released at Christmas. Nope.

Lethal Weapon was released in the US on March 6th 1987. March!!!!

I grew up watching those films John Candy starred in. This doc “I like me” is wonderful. It’s interesting to hear about Second City (look at those comedians he worked with! Wow!!) and his problems with his anxiety as it’s not something I’ve heard about before now. Great stuff.

I’m well into this celebrity Traitor show! What a great mix of people. Love how theyre all playing it quite straight but there’s also humour.

Alan Carr is a joy. I’m just seeing if he’s sweating now 🤣

No Mans Sky is one of the best games I’ve ever played.

It looks like Royal Mail Click & Drop is now back up and running for parcels being sent to the US.

To my customers…apologies for the slight delay. Only been a few days but all orders to the US will be sent out today!

Thanks for your patience.

If you were around in 1996, then you’ll be all to aware of how big Alanis Morrisette was. That album Jagged Little Pill was played everywhere. I loved it. Reminds me of Euro 96 and the good vibes around that period.

Just watched her set at Glastonbury on iplayer. Was great.

And here’s the poster for The Equalizer 3!

McCall is brutal in this film. He kind of enjoys it as well to a certain extent. Like he’s accepted who he is now after the first film.

That’s The Equalizer 3 watched. Really enjoyed it. Far better than the second one!

After watching Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning on @netflix last week, I’ve been wanting to go back to the start.

For those in the UK that want to do the same, the first 3 films are on the ITV app!

I’ve started the first film and I’d forgot Emilio Estevez was in it!

The poster for MI: Dead Reckoning - love the cast in this as well. Will have to watch them all in order for sure now.

Is Mission Impossible the best action movie franchise?
May 27, 2025 at 9:59 PM
That’s Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning watch on Netflix - really enjoyed that. Tom Cruise is the master at this isn’t he?! There’s humour and sadness and he brings it. Every time. The stunts are all him as well. Crazy.

Most enjoyable film for a while to be honest.

I’m up to that iconic part of episode 2 in season 1 where Miami Vice blew up. In The Air Tonight plays as Tubbs and Crockett head to a drugs bust.
