I don't think it's great or even good art, but it's fascinating as a biographical and psychoanalytical text about Coppola. You can tell when the plot threads were written because they are transparently his take on then-current events. A guy spending 50 years on a grand statement with nothing to say.

This movie is so terrible but every choice is so wild. Saw it in theaters and was just grinning and cackling the whole time. Its like all of the actors and all of the plots think they're in different movies.

They should (and hopefully will), but with it being a state school they have to tread carefully around the 1st amendment and figure out how to do it legally and with proper process, otherwise they will get sued and end up paying these assholes (and their evil right wing lawyers) much more later on.
