When I retired I took a break from anything related to my past life as an educator. To help a new friend out this robotics season I “advised” her son’s team. They just qualified for the State Robotics Championship in their second event. I’m chuffed for them.

Finally got this posted- some great comics out there!
The robotics team I was advising did amazing all things considered - their first tournament, middle and elementary school mixed, etc. By the end they missed the finals by one spot coming in 13th. They learned so much and get to do it all over again (without me) next Saturday.
