The idea that this is all somehow new, that the US has crossed some kind of Rubicon with regards to the long arm of their military reaching out across the globe to murder people, is a bit of a leap.

There's tons of granularity to be found in adopting egg terminology: "Partners that feed outdoors"*; "Pasture-raised, no hormones"**

*will only go on dates, not great at parties or Christmas
**looks like they are on steroids but just grew up on a farm and has amazing arms

I find it wild that people who have so obviously tilted at the windmill of superstardom are going, "I would also like to be a character actor". Reminds me of the Zane Lowe Kanye interview where it becomes clear that West thinks that talent in one sphere is universal and transferable.

Hideo Kojima's collected book reviews/essays, titled The Creative Gene. There are some analytical gems in there, and it is a suprisingly personal collection for what is essentially a list of books he has liked

Been getting some really nice early reviews so far, including Library Journal's verdict: 'Reid’s entertaining thriller will keep fans of New York City crime stories and serial killer tales on the edge of their seats'. It feels like the months to publication are racing along.
