DOGE doesn’t have legal authority to do oversight in lieu of Congress. Even if you sincerely feel that Congress isn’t effectively doing their job, it’s not legal to outsource it to a private citizen who hasn’t been elected or vetted by Congress to act in their stead. What aren’t you getting?

Nothing in your response is of substance. Congress has the Constitutional authority to create and fund agencies, and to have oversight. The POTUS is Constitutionally required to utilize those funds. It’s literally one of the checks against the executive. You don’t care about the rule of law.

It’s not about transparency. It’s about control. Sure, they’ll throw out some example (real or not) to sensationalize it but they are violating impoundment by unilaterally line-item vetoing moneys appropriated by Congress (usurping Congress). I thought you guys were pro-Constitution.
