Happy Tomato Tuesday. I’ve been meaning to post on here but the character limits make it rough to port my ig posts over. Hope your summer gardens are treating you well.

Fig rooting is going well. If these all make it the fig collection will be complete as well. I see a little bud leafing out so that’s a good sign.

Rounding out my dragonfruit collection. Getting this last pot going soon. Temporarily stuck them in small pots to see if they’ll start rooting early.

Was able to get 3 varieties to fruit last year. Hopefully we’ll see a lot more this season as the pots mature.

Tomato Lineup Selected!

My favorite way to start tomatoes is in a hydroponic system. These have been in here for 3 weeks. It took one week for germination and this is two weeks worth of growth. I’ll now transplant these into soil and start a new batch in here. Started 1/27.

Green Beauty Snow Peas produce huge pods. It’s one of my favorites and the purple flowers are a nice bonus. These were started in October and show no signs of stopping.

Tomato season has officially started over at the humble garden. I’m just starting off with a few but the bulk of the tomato crop will be started mid Feb. Glad to see you all over here at bluesky. Hoping more our our garden and tomato community will move on over.
