I tend to be inspired by subject matter rather than other people’s songs. I tend to go my own way on these things.

Never written a country song, must say, but might have a crack at it, just have to find the right subject matter.

I write songs about things that amuse me and I really like. Sometimes they’re funny, sometimes just strange. Sometimes serious.
