It really is. They must prioritise people who don’t work which is fine but then why advertise for more people to help out? Plonkers. I’ve been turned down for volunteering in Hackney and the social club didn’t get back to me either. Yay.

Yep I contacted a local volunteer place to see if they need help Xmas day and they said we don’t allow people to volunteer for one day. So I said oh I’d like to volunteer more regularly but work Mon-Fri and no response….
