Unpopular opinion:

Signing up your teen to take an SAT on a Saturday just to "see how your teen does" is a waste of money.

Instead, have them spend that Saturday morning and $68 wisely by preparing AT LEAST 8 weeks in advance.

Speaking of skyrocketing applications (and colleges that limit the number of out of state students accepted), UT Austin saw a 48% increase in applications from out of state students. With 90,562 applications this year, UT is close to joining the UC system in CA for large app numbers. bit.ly/49KUHgA
