Next Saturday is the big celebration in Berthoud. The town decided to combine everything into one day. Our daughter and her husband will be giving carriage rides during the day & our daughter organized the parade of lights that evening. They will have their horses in the parade too.

I can relate. I planned to go to small shops in Berthoud on Saturday, but decided I could go any day. I missed the festivities planned by the businesses, but I will shop local.

I was once riding my horse along a country road when a car flew by with a couple of idiots. One leaned out of the passenger window & loudly slammed the side w/ his hand. It startled my horse. Luckily we didn't have an accident.

One of our nieces is a director in the NY parks department. My mother-in-law when recently told our niece, after waiting 6 months, is getting a big raise. MAGA MIL said, "Of course, now that there is a socialist as mayor." Nevermind he isn't in office yet. 😁
