Let’s see if the algorithm cares about the #divinefeminine

I don’t want you to listen to my music and see me.
I want you to listen to my music and see you.

If you don’t love your own music, who will? I wrote this guitar line and I think it’s pretty awesome 😊 #indiemusic #newmusic

Don’t mind me, I’m just singing about the Yoruba goddess of love, beauty, and fertility. #newmusic #indiemusician #worldmusic

I know this is as niche as it gets, but let’s be honest, I cooked with this one. #indiemusic #worldmusic

Am I the niche final boss? 😂 I’m trying to figure out who the audience is for this song. It you?

I don’t make songs for the algorithm. I make songs from my heart. This will never go viral because it’s way too niche, but I don’t care. If you can feel the joy in this, you’re my kind of people. I hope this put a smile on your face. 😊❤️

Hi! This song will resonate if you’re a deeply connected and embodied person. So anyone interacting with this is the definitely kind of person I want to connect with. #indiemusic #medicinemusic #medicineman

I wrote this. It’s a guitar solo bridge in my new single Ide Were Were. (Yes I know the sheet music is a mess) #musiccreation #songwriter

You gotta toot your own horn sometimes.

Oshun is the Yoruba goddess of love and beauty and is often associated with rivers. I tried to be faithful to that in producing this verse. Let me know what you think!

Any guesses what language I’m singing? (Sound on) #newmusic #medicinemusic

“Ide Were Were” is a Lucumí prayer to Oshun, Orisha of love and rivers. It praises the shimmer of her bracelets—cheke cheke cheke. This prayer cracked me open years ago, and my rendition grows from tender voice and guitar into a jubilant, percussive celebration, like a river finding its full flow.

On how a little raven saved my life.
And yet, I was dying
On how a little raven saved my life.

Corporate lawyer by day. Singer, pianist, songwriter, and producer all the rest. It’s not easy balancing it. But it’s also not all or nothing. There is a way to be a creative while working a day job. Even a half hour a day adds up over time.

It’s called Brother. And yes, that’s a gospel choir.

I’ve never though of tarot as predicting the future but rather sparking ideas that you already have but might not be able to access consciously for whatever reason. This card fits the message of the song perfectly. It’s what my brother and I needed back then and what we are learning to give now

It’s called “Brother”. And it’s about my little brother. Out everywhere.

And no, I didn’t almost break my ankle running up the hill. (Yes I did 😬). #newmusic #indiemusic #brother
