I do think "the sleeping giant" will awaken in November. People on food stamps will not be able to buy food for their families if the government remains shutdown. I saw an interview of someone predicting violence on local tv news in eastern NC yesterday. Building his ballroom while kids starve.

NBC announced breaking news my husband and I had bets going on what Trump has done now. He thought he bombed someone, I thought maybe there was a health scare. It was about Trump indicting Bolton, can we just get one day of not hearing about this drama queen. I hate my tax $ going for this bs.

I am a daughter, caregiver, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. I am also a democrat. According to Trump and Hegseth, I am now an enemy of this country because I don't agree with their policies. They are trying to convince our military that I should be killed as the enemy within.

In a conversation with an eastern NC tobacco farmer, he told me due to current government policies his contract per pound is down 40 cents this year. This represents a loss of $96,000 on his crop of 240,000 pounds. He also informed me there would not be bailouts for tobacco farmers; he is rattled.
