Half measures have failed. We need a radical action plan to fight for both Universal Healthcare AND Public Education for Life. The world economy is constantly changing and we need continuing education to keep up. Progressive countries provide both from the tax base and pay less for better results.

I agree and would add public education through university and trade school. Progressive countries know that equal access to healthcare and education are basic requirements for civil society.

The House is closed because of the Epstein Files. When Johnson reopens Congress, (if he does), one third of the SNAP budget removed by the Big Ugly bill will still be gone along with WIC, and Head Start and hits to school meal programs. So hunger and malnutrition will still happen.

This is reality right here.
If they can rescue they could have boarded, inspected, and then arrested or released if warranted, the way drug interdiction is done by law by the US. With no evidence, the survivors should be released. The order to shoot and kill was a despicable war crime by any standard.
