This obviously helps the sound too. The whole pedalboard is about to be redone (slightly larger) because I'm literally out of space, and also now have a MXR Bass Synth on the way. Darn you Ian Martin Allison and your excellent demo videos....

There are no bad choices here! I finished assembling this guy around the beginning of the year, and now my J-bass is gathering a bit of dust. The Bartolinis (8CBP) in it are just fantastic!

It doesn’t have any fabric or “rat fur” on it like most do, but it is still relatively pliable and definitely comfortable.

@mental-floss.bsky.social You left out my absolute favorite, Dutch Apple. No modern sort-of version Kellogg's has come out has been close, and the other mfgs. versions are just bad.

Last night (1/8) the CBS Evening news did specifically mention the drought and climate change as drivers of the current wildfire crisis. They even provided a powerful visual example of how little rain the area has received, stating something like "we should be at 10x this right now...".
