An old Mario mockup image I worked on (as far as a year back) that purposes what 2D Mario would've been like had there been one for Nintendo GameCube. Most assets are meant to be recycled from and designed after the Yoshi's Cookie remake from Nintendo Puzzle Collection.

This image was meant as a mockup. There were no plans to develop this as a full mod or even a game itself. The Mario and Luigi renders are the only assets within the image that are directly taken from Wonder using Switch Toolbox.

Unfortunately it is exclusive to me for the time being. 3D character modeling isn’t really much of my thing and that was something more for fun (also since I believed and that FDC took place within Mario and Ayumi looked like a Mario character to me). I partially edited her from Mario.

Quite a surprise to see another Famicom fanatic just as I am with Ayumi fan art like this! I once commissioned someone to draw her in summer clothing (based on an idea I came up with for a imaginary FDC title) and you’re not alone with the Diskun idea either, I did add that to her for my SM64 model.

This is quite an old commission post that’s likely subject for updates in the future. One of the artists behind this retired from projects like these and some sprites were used from another who’s seemingly been inactive and I plan to have those changed.
