Once I decided to just have multiple endings, I changed the doors into more traditional hidden entrances with secret levels. Instead of golden rooms like I initially planned, I came up with more dark, hidden backroom style tileset for the secret rooms.

I have to admit that it was a bit difficult for me at first, but I eventually got used to the attack mechanics. Even so, I thought it was a good boss battle
