Recently did a talk on elder fraud in the area I’m in, talk with a local rotary club or discuss with the chamber of commerce. Rotary is a very involved org for the older generation and they are often business owners/executives. You’ll have more positive impact and prospects there

It’s nice having an OS that idles at 1% CPU and a gig of memory, plus the lack of spyware is also a perk

The Nvidia drivers can be a bit annoying, so definitely look into those first

Good luck!

A rough pass looks like this is running a chromium browser like Playwrite does, which is resource intensive.

I am exploring the possibility of ripping out the scripts and running the JS without a full browser at the moment

I want it to be as fast as possible, I’m going to be operating with few resources so the longer it executes the fewer resources available for concurrency (or so I think)

I will 100% look into this, that looks like exactly what I’m looking for, but I expect it’s also slow

One day there will be a free scrolling Razer mouse with the same DPI controls and my life will be complete

Also, following because you seem to have a lot of Go related stuff and I’m looking to learn more + get feedback on whatever I might end up posting

Parsing I have down, but my original solution for analysis I built in Python using playwrite (because I need JS execution) and it’s far too slow

I’m not sure there’s a similar tool in Go so I’m hoping to get to the point where I’m building it myself!

From what I can tell, Go has a ton of value in things that require high volume and fast responses

Right now I’m looking at parsing webpages to analyze links and doing the same for email

🫡 Indeed, I need a separate numpad
