We're all going to have to realize that anticipating the failure of the second Trump administration isn't the same thing as rooting for America to fail. The only way American democracy resurrects itself is if the kakistocracy Trump is building does exactly what one would suspect and screws everyone.

Matt Gaetz just resigned from the House. He’s hoping to put to bed the Ethics Committee probe while he tries to get confirmed as Attorney General. But the Ethics Committee will give the dirt to the media anyway. If we tank his AG nomination, Gaetz is out of government entirely.
