Watching the #nostr presentation from fosdem and mostly feeling old and grumpy about the whole thing. Really hoping there's something novel or at least clever here, but so far it's just signed json with an annoying schema.

I think what I find annoying about ~100% of AI conversations and businesses is that they hold the rest of the world constant. Every idea seems to be "AI can fill in this existing process and maybe even do it better". Impatient for the emergent generation.

Definitely pleased with Opus in Claude Code. Sonnet made me an ugly webapp and couldn't see any problems with it despite a skill to generate screenshots from CUJs.
I just asked Opus to take a look and it was like:
* huh, that's ugly. here's 14 bullet points of immediate fixes.

I love this place. I love how gosh-darned... *competent* all the little kids seem. Toting all their stuff and their little selves around solo in cafes and on public transit, very seriously consulting their phones, probably planning out their electives for third grade or sth.
