I appreciate the shade thrown at 'X' by continuing to call it "Twitter" after all this time. (Even though it is likely just a result of skipping low importance updates, which could now be bumped up to include Bluesky...)

Hey the website still says "list of charities coming soon" but it looks like you've got them (Robin Hood Association, Boys and Girls Club Strathcona Country, Strathcona Food Bank, A Safe Place). Forward to IT (aka. probably your nephew 😆)!

Keep in mind that 27% of eligible voters managed to elect a majority UCP government in 2023. It doesn't matter what most Albertans want, it matters what those who actually do something want. Take it seriously.

Yes, but there isn't much traffic. Only used for time-sensitive stuff or items far inland that are already on railroad network. Roads up there can get really bad, and aren't great at their best. Shipping all of it by sea would probably end up saving money. Just slower.

I wonder how the USA will sabotage Canada's trade with Mexico? Less than 15% is moved by air or sea, the rest by truck and rail through the USA. I could certainly imagine an orange buffoon blocking all of that surface transport, or effectively blocking it with a ridiculous through-traffic fee.
