Know a lady who needed foot surgery. On Medicare Advantage.
Surgeon said 5 weeks in-hospital recovery. I heard him. Insurance sent her home to live alone at 3 weeks. Problems insued.
Eventually lower leg amputation.
Perhaps the surgeon's 5 weeks would have made a difference?

There's no pain involved so no need for anesthesia. Ear plugs and IV for contrast is about it. Torso typically involves expanding chest with commands to breath in and hold it.
