I don’t get much engagement and I don’t have a large following, I’m okay with that. I just want to say that our ride or die BFFs are married lesbians, and I am in a mixed race marriage. Yes, my husband is white. What’s coming down the pike could be ugly for us & I need to say, we could have had her.

As evidenced by my handle, I’m Native. This holiday has always been weird to handle. I’ve made all the food, friends and fam coming, football on and fire burning. We celebrate a day off spent with loved ones. We remember those who came before.

It’s been a rough day at work. Jumped in here and noticed on two posts that the bots or magats trying to engage, no one answered them or acknowledged their comments. I blocked and went on. It’s so nice here 💙

Blocking Nazis, trolls, and fascists doesn’t make it an “echo chamber.” People need to stop gaslighting us into thinking we have to listen to Nazis and debate trolls in order to be informed.

Hubs and I were born in 1968. I in Southern California, he in the mid Atlantic. I had the smallpox vaccine he did not. We had beaten smallpox at that time and states were opting out. Now at 56, I’m scheduling boosters for the vaccines I can because of crazy decisions by the pumpkin spice Palpatine 🙄
