Personally, I really disliked the Corrupt Jorl-El angle. Not only is it just ripping off The Batman at it's core (if not completely baring no real resolution), but it also throws out Clark's key trait of being an immigrant/man of two worlds just so that Gunn can emulate John Bryne's overrated run.
