Finally got my hands on a childhood memory. An absolute blast of fun for anyone into creative endeavors. The music player/editor and the fly swapping game to boot were perfect. The way the save robot’s head explodes if over the size limit was simply chef’s kiss.

Don’t forget to put a big fatty 470uF directly onto your old SNES’s voltage regulator. It will appreciate the extra filtering, especially the 2A version.

She loves me, and I love her! She’s had such a busy kitty day! Being fed and loved, playing fetch the bottle cap. Daily wet food that she loves - alternating between birb and fishy.
So hard being a baby kitty. So much love. So sleepy. So next to her mommie and her mommie’s blanket. :3

And we have a v1.4/1.5!!!
That means we can TSOP flash it, add 64MB for 128MB total RAM, and no need to stack RAM chips or do an LPC rebuild!
Huzzah!
And the clock capacitor hasn’t spilled its guts all over the board either. Hurray!

Hey, if you've never soldered before... Don't attempt to do a repair like this. Take it to someone who has done it before.
You'll spend less money taking it to someone knowledgeable on how to solder than doing it yourself and then winding up having to replace the whole unit in the end.

Really cool find. We got three LoROM SNES game boards here, one of which uses a white (instead of gold) masking layer while the other two use discrete 74LS139 decoder logic chips (with transistor and such) instead of the MAD-1 decoders that are more common.
Kinda neat. Not a big deal, but still. :3

This is that 250ft Ethernet line I was talking about. Had to scrape the ground up with a hitch adapter and ditch digging ripper on the UTV to get through the ground. Did get it done finally, but do still need to put some more dirt overtop of it. So much freakin work! So glad that’s done.

Out in the garage you will find the RasPi 5 I plan on using as a web server. It’s using the long Ethernet line that I put in this summer, and worked my butt off to bury. Now I can have a freezing cold garage cool my server machine while I connect to it from the comfort of my own chair. ^_^

All the donor carts I have been collecting to process. Straight from the 5$ & less bargain bin. That’s gonna be a whole lot of labels I have to remove/replace, and a ton of solderwork to do.
Just even looking at it makes me question my decision to get into cart modding, lol.

I love it when mod authors get the free cart of their work that I send them! This Final Fantasy V cart I sent over is being well loved! Absolutely love to see someone so happy and inspired by something like this. Truly warms my heart! I hope he has an absolute BLAST playing it!
