NACLIQ and its affiliated organizations advocate to raise the profile of all queer lighting practitioners through direct interaction within the lighting community, academic outreach, cooperation with other industry organizations, and presence and active participation in lighting events.

OUR MISSION:
NACLIQ is dedicated to uniting all people of traditionally excluded genders and sexual orientations in the lighting industry to address important issues such as workplace and hiring discrimination, income inequality, harassment, inclusion, representation etc.

NACLIQ started in 2020 as one freshly-cracked trans woman's effort to build community through Zoom happy hours. We now have regional chapters around the U.S., and a presence at most major architectural lighting trade shows and conferences-- and we're expanding deeper into the theatrical world.
