I don’t know if Squeenix is litigious about their artwork, but I’ll tell you who is, Yoshitaka Amano.

Above all else this is a failure of publishing. The writer takes the blame of course but the buck stops with the editor. It’s like not even a single fact was checked.

I genuinely thought WRM was sorry and wanted real correction instead of being “torn to shreds,” so I told him why his book is bad without calling him names or anything. He thanked me and seemed serious about it. Then he turns around and says SIKE so I guess I’m the stupid asshole for trying. 🤷‍♀️

I'm from Canada and I love how Commonwealth countries all share the same handful of British-sounding town names. Over here Collingwood is just a small town next to Georgian Bay/Lake Huron, and for a second I thought "I didn't know they're big enough to offend anybody."
