I guess you have to conclude I still have this Cub Scout shirt from circa '65-66 for emotional, sentimental reasons. Or because I never threw things away. But it's just been using space in my closet all this time. Fond memories of my mom who served as a den mother. Time to say goodbye.

Notable how similar the jobs data we do have indicate that things haven't been this bad since 2020, the last full year our current president was in office. I'm not clear why the American people thought it would be better. Money->advertising->poorly informed people susceptible to misinformation.

I'm sure others have posted already but in case anyone missed it, the special election to replace the deceased Gerry Connolly was ridiculously uncompetitive. It was a blue district before. Dems and citizens in this district, my district, did take any chances. Dems won 3:1.

Just caught tonight's Nash show. I came away more inspired by songs Graham played than I've recently felt. Songs from Songs For Beginners, including I Used to be a King. I always thought Jerry Garcia's pedal steel break on that song might have been his best work on pedal steel. Thanks Graham/band.
