And it is about patriarchy, just how all encompassing it is. How women even if they are the victims of this monstrous man made structure, do uphold patriarchy.

It is about casteism, about hindutva sentiments, where a Muslim/Hindu couple are whispered about as if they had committed a great sin, as if this "transgression" is a blight upon the Hindu family. What of her dignity? What of her purity?

It is about capitalism, how it dehumanizes the working class, where a woman who is getting evicted from her home, a home where she lived in for more than 20 years, just because she doesn't have the proper papers. She practically doesn't exist now, forgotten about or forcefully excised from memory.
