Found a beautiful example of a sphinx Singer treadle sewing machine at the thrift store today, she almost came home with me even though I do not have the room, they weight a ton, and she needed some work. Not bad for a 123 year old girl though

Poor Binx hasn't had many pictures shared since he developed his (benign) cyst but even with a bump he's still an adorable old man who's enjoying my new reading corner near the window a lot, especially with the addition of a soft blanket for his old bones ❤️

TIL that the makers of the zany, thought-provoking but short-lived 2011 browser MMO 'Glitch' took the group chat aspects of the game after it closed and used it as the basis for ... Slack. Then sold themselves to Salesforce.
