Yeah, there's definitely more to it than just that in heavy traffic. Folks should be taught to keep distance between them and the next car too. Even on open roads though, cruise control is much safer.

More people need to learn how to use cruise control. I swear to God, if they taught how to use it we'd have a lot more safety. Much fewer idiots varying their speed between 40 and 60 when the limit is 50. Speed up, hit the limit, click! No more need to manage speed unless I have to brake.

I owned the regular outfit version years ago, and can I just say it is the worst designed Figma I have ever owned! It damages so easily, and the hat doesn't clip in, it uses a little plastic wafer that pinches between the front hair and main scalp. It falls apart quickly!

I find 2D lighting so fun to mess with. I don't have it anymore but I was working on a shader you could apply to tall sprites that would make the light only affect the bottom of it and only if the character was roughly below it. It makes "tall" objects much more believable.

Hey you have to give Petroglyph credit, they still do maintenance updates for the game. The most recent one I think was in 2024.

I haven't had time to read the whole thing, but the more I read into it the more I see them misrepresenting sources, and using claims of being "too short term" for some while using equally short term studies for their arguments in other places. Sorry, but I don't trust this paper.

If you can't spend the time to educate yourself on a complex topic (1 hour 40 minutes is not long) then see yourself out. Your opinion is worthless if you can't learn the facts.
