I keep priming models dark grey, thinking 'oh i should try contrasts again', realizing they dont work well on it and getting sad. The entire first session was just 3 layers of green contrast

I like making clanrats schlep through gunk, so im doing a mud base with a new recipe
After the pva mixture set up and shrinks a little im going to put some water effects in the wheel ruts. Might look awful, we'll see.

Just found out that in MH Wilds when you catch the largest variant of a fish (gold crown icon) theres a unique animation and your hunter goes "Woo!"
I just think its real charming how stoked my little dude is about this even though she punches dragons for a living

I got some art done of my D&D character for a campaign i was in and printed it onto a magic card for giggles. He's foil.

I know ots supposed to show how Nata has grown as a character but the fact that the very last thing we do in the story is confirm that his guy is free and capable and then IMMEDIATELY put it down like a rabid dog is just so funny to me

My one actual gripe with mh wilds, bot gameplay design but real moment to moment gaming:
If i accept a research request to capture an endemic that ive already caught, why the FUCK do i have to catch another? The tub at basecamp has a rufflizard I caught in it why do you need a new one?? Greedy ass

After a 14 hour session with MH Wilds yesterday i can confideny say that its well worth the price of admission, its really good, and i probably wont do anything else for the next month
THAT SAID: i understand exactly what the reviewers meant when they said it was too easy and i mostly agree
