Tbh though I don't know if looking into the head hiding again is a can of worms I want to open back up... The last time I got sniped by that I spent a few months experimenting and creating cursed things.

This was really confusing to debug lmao.

While poking in renderdoc I also noticed a potential issue with our head hiding. I was also told by Noachi my use of compute shader to copy skinning was silly, and they made a demo script showing something much much simpler to copy the vertex buffer over :D

another neat little thing i can do is add people to show up in cameras which try to only see the local player

so i can choose who shows up in the portable camera, personal mirror, self portrait, ect

likely very very niche but i thought it was cool to add

also was experimenting with a popout screen for the videoplayer after someone got in my face during a movie lmao

been spending a lot of time in vr watching movies recently so this immediately became a need for sitting comfortably

well i consider this as cool stuff, but there isnt much need for switching between OpenVR & OpenXR at runtime :/

Our event filtering is very aggressive, even preventing targeting into prefabs outside scene, because you can get up to all sorts of shenanigans.

I used to find them constantly years ago before we finally pulled the trigger & blocked it all. Everything from now on is manually allowed after review.

if you have stuff that needs adding to the event whitelist please do make issues on the tracker :3

we asked those affected before and got no further response…
