I’ve been in SW since 2013 and have witnessed huge industry shifts. When Backpage was shut down in April 2018, a platform many of us relied on for affordable advertising vanished overnight. In its absence, some were pushed toward unsafe agencies or street work, or predatory advertising platforms.
