My brother (who never calls) called me yesterday because he saw something on TV he wanted for Christmas. Ordered it this morning. Family Christmas shopping is now done. Still need to shop for non-family members.

My TV algorithm is off. It is recommending TV with dubbing in German. I do not speak German.🤷♂️

Having a good day today. Fixed the notifications on my phone (ring is ringing again) and got a supply of nonalcoholic beer ahead of sober October. Now just need my sports teams to win🤞

When I’ve been needing a bit of levity I have been watching old episodes of junior bake off. But I fast forward after the elimination because I cannot watch those little kids crying.

Had an uncrustable for the first time and realized I’ve been making pb&j sandwiches wrong my whole life — instead of a 1:1 ratio of pb to j, pb on both sides with jelly in the middle is better.

It’s little league baseball World Series season and I am here for it.This year I also was able to watch the little league softball World Series. The pitcher of the championship team pitched 2 days in a row, brought in RBIs and pitched 104 pitches (50+ mph range) the second day. Truly impressive.

Saw a gorgeous blue jay on my morning jog today. Sorry, no picture as I just kept jogging along but I did take a second to look back and appreciate it.
