great day to trot onto this timeline LOOKING for ways you can give more than you take. not because you have to, or because it is required of you in existential sense, but because it is a blessing and a privilege to. so excited to be here

This Pride Month, we are shouting loud and clear: THESE COLORS DON’T RUN.

Our visibility has never mattered more, and neither has our strength. And as HRC’s @brandonwolf.bsky.social says, NO president can push us back into the closet.

1. HRC has launched a more defiant protest tone for Pride this year.

In their campaign announced today, "These Colors Don't Run," one feature went rather viral... the image of an Eagle with progress pride flag colors, painted nails, falsies, and a harness.

As an educator on this topic, it is so fucking frustrating when that, when people see the word "transition" in relation to gender, they automatically assume that this is exclusively a medical transition.

This completely ignores the importance and impact of supporting social transition.

My first thought regarding defunded substance use and mental health programs is that this will mean an additional strain on our prison system. There won't be any ability to help those people whose conditions are more severe and many may end up incarcerated. Is that a side effect or part of the plan?

Heading home after two full weeks, domestic and abroad, with the gf. This feels like quite the neurodivergent LDR milestone. Always looking forward to the next time.

View of Toledo, Spain.

I honestly thought Newsome would hold out against the dipshit dictator a bit longer. I'm disappointed, ngl.

Cyrano is so good.

The vile stuff on Meta is truly exhausting. A few of my friends still post there but to scroll past all the hate and bigotry to find them is disgusting and disheartening. Plus knowing that every scroll and click puts money in billionaire pockets is gross. I think I'm done.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is what DEI stands for. It is about welcoming people whose voices would otherwise go unheard. It is about making sure people have the support and accommodations they need to be successful. It is about making decisions WITH the people those decisions will affect.
