Turns out, most of the artifacts from my Light L16 can be eliminated by using it in 35mm mode. But I can't get resolutions beyond 51 megapixels though. However, 28mm works ok as long as I'm in an area with not much trees. Focus stays somewhat consistent. 35mm is where it shines.

Been digging through some old hard drives, and I found a bunch of music I made over 10 years ago with an ancient piece of software called Music2000. Basically it's a fancy sequencer sampler type thing which also shipped on the PS1.

Another weird camera in my collection. I've finally gotten around to installing the last Android OS release for it, and I've also installed a modified version of the camera app called open-light. This fixes the touch strip. I've used ADB to sideload a bunch of other useful apps.

I wish Light did the same thing with their L16 camera. The hardware itself is actually good, it's the software that's bad. It didn't receive much updates, and it was abandoned after the company fell into bankruptcy (Some are trying to reverse engineer it, and there are some fixes available now).
This should honestly be a legal requirement for discontinued products.
