2nd day in Catania.. we walked around..took a little minitrain/cart ride around the city.. had fun seeing the major sites and went back to a few.. St. Nicholas Cathedral and Monestary..and took the stairs to the top for a spectacular view of the city. All in all another fun day.

Today I FINALLY was able to finish submitting my Permisso di soggiorno documents to become a permanent resident of Italy.
The process was tedious, but as far as I'm concerned, it was well worth it. I have my residency. It also gives me the freedom to travel throughout EU countries freely.

If you haven't already listened to it.. PLEASE .. take the time to listen to Bernie Sanders' speech last night in Kenosha Wisconsin. It's exactly what every American needs to hear. We need to become united to get the USA back on track. He's giving facts we need to know to combat ignorance.

A look at what Eagle Field Historians did with our two "teen" Studebakers! They are transformed into a bit of military history. Both the 1915 and 1917 Studebakers are now used as historical military vehicles.. I find it appropriate that one's a gunner and one is an ambulance.. The two sides of war.

Darn... I was so excited about a possible apartment/house down by the beach.. itwas really stunning.. BUT.. the geometra ( inspector/architect) said it didn't have enough cross ventilation..and could be damp.. thats a deal breaker for me... Darn Darn Darn !!

Well, here's a pleasant surprise.. I went for lab tests this morning ..a complete bloodwork up and cholesterol count.. and was in and out in 15 minutes.. andthe cost without insurance as a private pay??? 14€

Well, I thought I had a plan for today.. get bloodwork and then come home and do some planting.. but when I woke up, I forgot about the fasting and made myself a nice toast and egg breakfast ..so had to cancel my test..I'll try again tomorrow! I did make a new dish..roasted eggplant with farrow

Well, I thought I had a plan for today.. get bloodwork and then come home and do some planting.. but when I woke up, I forgot about the fasting and made myself a nice toast and egg breakfast ..so had to cancel my test..I'll try again tomorrow! I did make a new dish..roasted eggplant with farrow

Today, I'm spending my day being creative and watching Italian QVC to strengthen my language skills. Here is my creative project ..gluing ceramic sea tiles to the glass panels on a coffee table ..it's a fun mosaic project. I'll watch a documentary on Martin Luther King Jr. to honor his birthday.

Today, I'm spending my day being creative and watching Italian QVC to strengthen my language skills. Here is my creative project ..gluing ceramic sea tiles to the glass panels on a coffee table ..it's a fun mosaic project. I'll watch a documentary on Martin Luther King Jr. to honor his birthday.
