conservatives aren’t all ‘dumb’ people, they’re people who opt out of thinking about things, doing the reading, and instead choose to adopt a party line on any topic, essentially mocking the democratic principle of free thought. Even Jesse Watters is not a stupid guy, he just plays one on TV

Also sexual violence and crimes against women and children. Imagine if law enforcement put as much energy into bringing in the guys on the Epstein list as they do harassing everyday working people trying to support their families

Why send mental health workers without police backup though? Just one or two violent episodes will destroy support for this program, does not bode well. In hospitals, people are given ‘medical restraints’, but these workers won’t have that option. Who will transport a person in distress? EMS?

What? Universal childcare, fast and free buses, government-run groceries, and a freeze on rent stabilized housing ? Don’t think Zohran’s policy proposals will get anyone very far running on that federally.
