I love to speak Spanish, & lived in Spain. I taught Spanish Language & Culture for 25 yrs. I retired, & I'm enjoying singing in opera companies & audition choruses. I sang at Spanish masses & was a cantor. I have 2 loving Bengal cats, Azteca & Maya.
It just means considerable more paperwork & paying all the ancillary people like lawyers, the press, guests, etc. It's work for all the insurance companies who have to raise prices to compensate for lack of govt funds. The Dems have enough Republicans to pass the ACA funding. Mikey's on some ship!

Who sent the GOP home Thursday tonight? I know the answer. All it takes is one Republican to ask the Speaker to step down. Did they ever change that rule?

We need to let people be who they want to be for the rest of their lives. It's hard enough choosing one's own path. We don't need to critique the choices of others. My daughter says it's not by choice. I believe her.

No. I'm American, but I've lived & traveled in many countries. We're looking like "The Ugly American" right now. That movie, starring Marlon Brando, should still be around the streaming services.

We used muskets when the Constitution was being signed. We still killed to eat. Now we have 3D printers that make guns. Now we arm drones. Times have changed. If the rest of the world can operate without guns, so can we.

I'm crying for the children born with birth defects. They can already fix some defects & genetics is poised to save many more. Not without research. That didn't happen when Javier Becerra was in charge of HHS.
