Well, I am still watching and learning. I heard Heileman yesterday going on about how the Democrats are winning this fight with literally no shame or reflection on what he was saying one week ago. This is why these pundits are a joke - and he is one of the worst.
I agree there is no excuse for ignorance or antisemitism; however, your examples are all different cases. We should be helping in the Sudan, Ukraine is the country being attacked, Israel is committing a genocide and we are funding it. That is uniquely different.
All morning on MSNBC the panelists went on and on about how the Dems are losing the messaging battle while - at the very same time - reporting a poll showing people support the Dems on the closing. One genius (John Heilemann) actually said the polls just haven’t caught up. They are all so, so wrong.
This was such an infuriating interview. Klein's arrogance is always off-putting, but he did not have the common decency to apologize to Coates for his (Klein's) column on Kirk, despite Coates letting him know how disturbing it was to him.
And his daughter gets a platform in the NYTimes, trying to rewrite his legacy, which she, of course, opposed when he was in office. They all have no shame.
Appreciate you calling on US citizens to use boycotts to effect change -- now do it for Palestinians. Support their rights to peaceful protest through the BDS movement. What's good for us is good for others.
I wrote about a glimmer of hope that elite Democrats are starting to change their minds about supporting Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza. www.nytimes.com/2025/08/08/o...
