It's such a 'personal mission' that changes won't happen till April 2026.

Families still have to get through a hard winter.

Why not copy Scottish Child Payment?

New slogan for Labour....

And Lyndsay Hoyle too - Speaker of tge House of Commons.

Reeves saying she'll give Scot £820m "because Anas Sarwar asked me to".

Is she bribing the Scot people to vote Lab in order to get some of our money back?

A List MSP has more clout with the Chancellor than the Scot Gov't??

Trump is favouring Rep States over Democrat-is Reeves trying this on Scot?

Gov'ts are squeezing the poorest & most vulnerable. It isn't justified, morally or economically. Performative punishment of the least powerful for failure of their neoliberalism. Gramsci said-it is a "time of Monsters". Grotesques like Trump belong in Marvel comics, alongside his weaker sidekicks.

This was Channel 4 Despatches prog in the run up to 2019 GE.
Wonder if his life chances have improved under Johnson, Truss, Sunak, then Starmer? Some children do "grow up" - they grow up poor & disadvantaged. What a waste of talent. It's taken Labour 18 months to put this right.

What does Farage & Reform stand for?

The kind of racism where the perpetrator gets to decide if they're being hurtful or insulting.
November 26, 2025 at 8:22 AM
Farage and Reform are just a Stalking Horse for Labour.

"A stalking horse is a figure used to test a concept or mount a challenge on behalf of a third party. If the idea proves viable or popular, the third party can then declare its interest and advance the concept with little risk of failure."

Will Farage pull the same stunt with Labour before GE29?

As Reform's agenda is adopted by Starmer's Labour & scrutiny of Farage & Co. intensifies re Russia links, the more I see this as a possibility (if not a Neolib strategy).

Next rUK GE could be Greens v Lab

Looks like Immigration is the new anti-Semitism red herring in Starmer's Far-Right Labour Party.

What will they think of next to explain the collapse of neoliberalism?

#ScottishIndependence will take you out of this endless cycle of misdirection & despair.

Special relationship?

Sometimes when you're a Lab Friend of Israel you don't know when to stand up against antisemitism & when to sit down.
Some anti-Corbyn Labour worthies got so used to beating the antisemitism drum they just can't stop. Isn't it time we had Labour Friends of UK? Or better still #ScottishIndependence

Zack Polanski comes across as sincere, committed & hopeful. John Swinney comes across as genuine, dependable & decent.
Keir Starmer comes across as hesitant, duplicitous & constantly pessimistic.
November 9, 2025 at 4:35 PM
Guess Sarwar must believe in magic & fairies at the bottom of his garden, if he thinks Reform and fag-ash Farage are capable of a Good Idea! Does he not remember that Farage single-handedly delivered Brexit & what a good idea that was!
November 3, 2025 at 5:20 PM
No other demographic since WW2 has had life chances stymied more than post-2008 youngsters.
Educ out of reach for most,
Rents taking 40-60% wages,
Transport costs making work unviable.
No wonder there's MH issues.

If you want to punish them more-Vote Farage.

If you dont-follow Scotland's lead.

Prince Andrew hosted pedophiles at his home to celebrate his daughter's 18th birthday??? What kind of father would allow these people, some wearing masks to roam around the grounds of his 30-bed mansion, during a party for his teenage daughter? Not fit to be a father, never mind a prince.

Irish Times sums up the British monarchy.

Independence is a dynamic force in Scotland. Unionism, with its adherence to neoliberalism, is falling apart more & more each day. It's not about overturning 300+ years in the UK. The two paths are no longer aligned. We will go our own way & take care of everyone who calls Scotland their home.
October 27, 2025 at 11:30 AM
And he didn't pledge solidarity with WASPI women either. It amazes me that there are traditional Labour voters continue to believe all the sweet nothings of Labour electioneering. There'll be no limit to their lies when #ScottishIndependence campaigning starts.

At least the Nobel Peace Prize Committee did not bow down before Trump.

The only two horse-race worth betting on. Will the madness of King Donald unseat him before the sleaze piling on top of Nigel and his chums destroys him at the first fence ?

Everyone should walk a dog at least once a week. Autumn all around us.

Focus groups tell politicians to punish refugees & immigrants.

Blue Labour/LabTog now in control of Gov't policy. Their research tells them that Trump-style authoritarianism & small state is what's wanted.

Strangely, these opinions just happen to coincide with what benefits the very rich in UK.
October 5, 2025 at 12:15 PM
An infingement of everyone's civil liberties, but look who'll benefit. Tony Blair's son Euan whose company Multiverse is tipped for the contract to supply digital id cards.

Here's another Labour Pledge which didn't survive long after GE24.
September 29, 2025 at 3:15 PM
Labour politicians pledges are ONLY valid up until they're elected.
