If this follows all dictatorships in history, the next step will be a military coup, and that will turn into another dictatorship. Then - after decades of bloodshed & complete economic devastation -you might get back to a democracy.

My favorite part of the Boston Christmas Tree story rarely gets mentioned... It's the fact that doctors, nurses & train crew left Boston for Nova Scotia having no idea what they would face when they got there. I'm on a train (Halifax to Montreal) as I type this. It really brings home the heroism!
