I flew with Gab Bfe in January and had a spectacular flight!
There was about 100 km/h of wind over the Alps the other day. I went for a wave flight with Gab Bfe from Chambéry in France to Bolzano in Italy in his Stemme glider (About 800kms out and back). If you are interested in doing this yourself check out Gabriel's website www.soaring-adventures.eu

In the context for my new aeronautics-related project, we are going to need some flight data to train our ML algorithms. And it needs to be acquired at a reasonable cost. So, we strapped a small GPS on a model plane and went flying. It seems to work nicely. Necessity is the mother of invention!

To refresh our ideas before the conference, we went snorkeling in 3C amazingly clear water. With enough layers under our dry suits, we weren't cold. Putting one's head in the water is unpleasant initially but that passes quickly.
